Translation of Foreign Visitor Population·Guidelines for translation services

If foreign petitioners (including children from multicultural families) who visit the Gyeongnam Office of Education Civil Complaint Empathy Center (petition room) have difficulty communicating, we provide telephone interpretation services every year. We also prepare translations and explanations of petition forms, and provide various petition conveniences such as issuing certificates.

Years of translation service support

  • What it will do: Foreign citizens will be able to receive mobile phone voice and video call interpretation with a foreign interpreter who is fluent in Korean if they need specialized counseling, such as simply filing a complaint, counseling on complaints, or requesting system improvements.

  • Annual operating hours: Weekday working hours (09:00~18:00)

    • Persistent, repeated and unjustified requests for service
    • Requests for interpreters by immigrants with no communication barriers
    • Malicious use of free requests by individuals and businesses
    • Requests for translation that are disputed or entail legal liability

Utilize the National People's Congress's foreign language petition translation service

  • When receiving foreign language petitions from foreigners and nationals living abroad, we use the National Translation Service to handle them.
  • Translation objects: Korean → English translation, other foreign languages ​​· Korean translation (※ English → Korean translation excluded)
